Despite rush hour traffic and freezing conditions the lifeboat and CG Mobile 1 were on scene in 7 minutes, and the person was removed from the water and taken away by ambulance. |

IRT paged to reports of a windsurfer in difficulty at Southwold Harbour. Team arrived on scene to find two windsurfers leaving the beach and confirmed they were the two we were looking for. Both were experienced surfers and required no further assistance. |

Coastguard Teams and police dogs searched by land and the lifeboat searched the river for 4 hours, but with nothing found and the fog rolling in, the Coastguard teams and lifeboat were stood down.

Whilst at the station training, were requested along with Gorleston Coastguard Rescue Team and Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Lifeboat to assist Norfolk Police with a high risk missing person search.

A total of 14 Coastguard Rescue Officers were on scene within 17minutes of the request and were about to start searching when the casualty was located by police officers on the beach. |

Paged for water rescue following reports that a person was in the water by Bascule Bridge, Lowestoft.

Team members arrived on scene just as RNLI Lowestoft Lifeboat had located the casualty and brought him onboard the lifeboat. Team then co-ordinated and assisted with the transfer to the ambulance before being stood down at 0240hrs. |
